Another pedstrian hit by vehicle in Campbell River

For the fifth time in the last three months, a pedestrian has been struck by a moving vehicle in Campbell River. Sergeant Craig Massey says it happened in Saturday afternoon at just after 2PM

“Once on scene, officers learnt that a 21 year-old adult male had exited a transit bus and attempted to cross the street when he was struck by a truck,” says Massey. “The male was transported to hospital for a shoulder injury.”

The cause of the collision is still unknown and under investigation. No charges have been laid yet.
