Writers workshop offered at the Museum at Campbell River

February 20, 2012

Whether you’re a seasoned writer or an aspiring one, the Museum at Campbell River is offering a great workshop with skilled writer Trevor Herriot.

Herriot has been the Haig-Brown Writer-In-Residence this year. He will lead the workshop with a focus on "Nature Writing."

“It’s a chance for writers to get to spend an afternoon with a well known, well published writer,” says director of public programs Ken Blackburn. “In a sense, develop a craft or skill in the process of writing.”

Herriot has written two CBC documentaries, written for the Globe and Mail and has published a few books now.

Call the museum to sign up soon because space is limited. Cost for workshop is $45, and it will be held on Saturday March 3rd from 1- 4pm.
