Victim of a hit and run speaks outFebruary 3, 2012Campbell Riverite Brian Walter, a 50 year-old man, was the victim of a hit and run in late December. After spending close to a month in hospital and rehab, he has a message for the driver of the "light colored" Ford pickup. “What were you thinking, to be in that kind of condition driving, said an emotional Walter in a police press scrum. “To almost take an innocent man’s life, how does it feel now? Speak to me, tell me you’re sorry or tell me your excuse.” The incident occurred on December 29th at 7PM at the intersection of Maple Street and Highway 19A.The truck would likely have damage to its right front fender.
